Current Town Projects
Gateway Park

The KUDTF, mainly through the good offices of Past Chairman, Dave Curry, and his professional Urban Planners at Helber, Hastert & Fee, designed the site plan and detail shown here, for the old "IT&T" site near the Kailua Entrance Bridge. For a while it has been a construction staging site, but is now rehabilitated. This work will allow the Division of Forestry and Wildlife to move

closer to implementation of the 1994 Master Plan for Kawainui Marsh. The portion of TMK 4-2-16:2 approved for use is an upland site that is included in the plan as a passive park area. The rest area and Display board shows where visitors can learn about the flora and fauna.
