Past Town Projects
Greenery

Adding trees and other landscaping has always been one of our main recommendations, and one of the most commonly voiced preferences at our I Love Kailua event information booth. Therefore, in 1998, with advice from professional Landscape Architects, Steve Mechler and Kevin Eckhart, the plan was prepared to plant a tree everywhere there was not a tree along the streets. Actually, the Greenery suggestion shown here was drawn before then. Over the next few years the plan was implemented by 2003.
